...And when I say that, I'm not talking about me. lol I know that I have a lot more to improve. x3

This is a simple tutorial, who is also a friendly tip... :3
Some people often say that they would like to draw like me... But Lemme told you guys a thing... Don't try to draw like me... Try to draw, BETTER THAN me! <3

- Step #1: SET YOUR GOAL!

My improvement come from that way to think...
I used to think about Bernal's art....

"Someday, I'll be more awesome than this guy! >:3"

Of course that's not my desire to bypass no one... This is more like a "manthra"... Believe me, You'll work A LOT better if you have a goal. I call this system as "Master and pupil". I called this way to always remember me that I'm just a student, a pupil, who need to learn everyday if I prettend to someday be as great as my master.
Bernal used to be my "master". (Even if he didn't know it.) I tried to learn his style. His anatomy, coloring, and shading. I tried to apply his techniques at my style, that's a really important thing that I'll need to.

- Step #2: CREATE YOUR IDENTITY!

Or your art will be always at the shadows of the biggest artists, like: "Oh, I like your style, it reminds me of Bernal!"
Do you remember? I don't want to be like Bernal, I want to be BETTER THAN him! xD
Once you have created your style, it gets even more easer to pratice.

"Oh, I want to have a cartoonish style, with some cold colors, kinda a mix of cartoon and realism!"

Cool! Now we need a master! Who's the artist who have a cartoonish style? We have a lot! Elton Portilho, Chalo, Dennis Carrigan...! And Who's the artist that have cold colors? Bernal, Karabiner, Strype...
A important thing that you need to keep in mind, is that you can change your master whenever you want, according to you needs... My first master, for example, was Elton Portilho... You guys can even look at my old drawings, and check my old cartoonish style. lol

- Step #3: PRATICE. PRATICE. PRATICE... AND PRATICE MOAR!

Pratice is the key. The more you pratice, more you'll improve. Draw as much as you can! And and the beginning use as much references as you can from your master! Try to copy (Yes, copy!) the thing you liked the most at your master's style. (Don't worry, You'll change that later, when you feel the need to apply your own touch!)
Besides your master's refs, Always search for anatomy tutorials, coloring, and pose references! DON'T TRACE. Tracing is the worst way to learn (And steal arts. o.o) Cuz you can get your master stroke, but you'll be always at his shadow (And will be called art thief. lol)

-Step #4: DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP!

...I know that at any moment of Bernal's carrer, he had to call on someone. lol So You don't have to be different! <3

Tutorials are really amazing, but when you have someone by your side throwing some tips and critiques you work tend to be improved faster!
Ask for the artists help, ask for critiques, ask for your friends opinion and search for some course of your interests!

Of course you can learn all by yourself, but It'll take a longer more to you reach your goal if your effort don't be enough.

-Step #5: BREATHE KNOWLEDGE!

Always take a lil' time to appreciate art, read interesting stuff, admire drawings, and techniques, watch interesting stuff like fantasy movies, and fantasy games to enrich your imagination. She's now your best friend on the road to awesomeness! Creativity is more important than any tool, than any technique! Cuz without her, you can be a amazing designer, but empty of ideas! Don't forget that!

-Step #6: DON'T BE AFRAID TO ACCEPT CHALLENGES TO IMPROVE!

Remember, the highest motivation you have, means the highest goal you can reach! I was just a admirer of anthro style, some time ago.. (To be exact, 2 years ago.) and now I'm praticing really hard to be more awesome than my actual master: Showkaizer. (If you don't know him, try to search for him at FA) "Oh, you gotta be kidding me! Showkaizer? Are you crazy?" Nope! I'm not crazy, I just take the highest goal I could find. I want to improve that way, and someday I'll get it. :) Your limit is imposed by yourself, remember that! The good artist never declines a challenge to improve! He's everyday learning something new, don't ever stop to learn! Great artists would never be where they are today if they hadn't taken risks. Remember that even Jesonite someday had to pratice eyes, mouths, and hands... ^^

Good luck on your journey fellow! :3
And this is how someday I'll be among giants!
